About Spencer Reynolds
My Story
I didn’t grow up expecting golf to become such a big part of my life. As a kid, hockey and baseball were my main passions. Golf was something I did on the side with a mismatched set of garage-sale clubs my grandparents found for me. They didn’t fit and weren’t ideal, but I loved swinging them anyway.
One of my earliest memories is taking a full swing in the backyard and sending a ball straight through our patio window. I got in trouble, but that moment sparked a love for the game that has stayed with me ever since.
My first real introduction to structured golf came through a junior golf camp. Around that same time, my grandma’s friend and her husband, a PGA of Canada Golf Professional, gave lessons to me and my younger sister for a short period. Listening to his stories and seeing his passion for the game was the first time I realized golf could actually be a career, not just a hobby.
In Grade 11, I completed a co-op placement at a local golf course, which gave me hands-on experience and showed me what working in golf could really look like. That experience, along with studying Sport Management at Niagara College and earning an Advanced Diploma, helped me build a strong foundation in both the technical and business sides of the game.
I joined the PGA of Canada in 2022, and since then I have been focused on helping golfers improve through coaching, club fitting, and equipment customization. My goal is simple: help golfers play better, enjoy the game more, and feel confident every time they step on the course.

“At 76 years old, I wasn’t sure what to expect from golf lessons, but Spencer made the experience enjoyable and rewarding. He was patient, clear, and following his lesson, he changed my grips and adjusted the lie on my irons to encourage better turf interaction through impact. His encouragement and genuine care made a real difference, and I’ve seen noticeable improvement in both my game and confidence.”

“Spencer did an excellent job teaching my son Jerry golf. Jerry can often get distracted, but Spencer was able to keep him focused while still making the lessons fun and engaging. He showed genuine care and interest not just in Jerry’s golf, but in Jerry as a person, which made a big difference. Patient, encouraging, and a great role model, I highly recommend him as an coach.”
